Yoga & Nature Retreat February 22nd - March 1st, 2025

 This retreat is for the adventurer and yogi of all levels. It is for the nature lover who wants to journey to one of the wildest, most beautiful, and most bio-diverse places on earth. You will have an opportunity to immerse yourself in nature, learn about the work to conserve and preserve our precious rainfores,t and explore the local culture, making your trip truly unforgettable.

It is for physically fit yogis and friends of all ages who are willing to take a day to arrive at this remote destination and then travel challenging paths and walk many steps with a certain degree of difficulty to practice yoga and experience the wonders of nature.

Yoga beginners and friends (who don't practice Hatha Yoga) are most welcome.

The practice be will be traditional hatha and karma yoga. Hannah Gruber and I, Evalena Leedy will be leading the retreat. There will be daily early morning meditation intended to deepen our connection to nature and to nourish and heal our soul. Morning and evening hatha asana will be gentle, deep, and restorative.
The karma yoga will be awe-inspiring and educational and offer a opportunity to explore and experience the White Hawk Foundations conservation efforts first-hand.
We will be retreating at the home of the White Hawk Foundation. We will deepen our karma yoga practice by taking a guided hike into the rainforest lands the foundation is working to conserve and preserve. There will be opportunities to learn about conservation, the local community and culture. We will experience first-hand how critical it is to preserve the ecosystems and biodiversity of the Osa Peninsula.
There will be time to explore, swim, hike, birdwatch, take a forest bath, visit the in-site Osa Wellness Spa for a massage or reiki session and/or to simply relax surrounded by 360 degrees of stunning nature.

We will be retreating at the Luna Lodge an award-winning Ecolodge to located near Corcovado National Park. Imagine monkeys and sloths in the trees, blue morpho butterflies and scarlet macaws in the sky, anteaters and tapirs on the earth. The rainforest is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful and...Humbling.
